Basic Expert Witness Training

Pre-Registration

All expert witness candidates with five years of professional experience may attend the training. As part of the preparation for the new application period, our training programs for the next Expert Witness application announcement are ongoing.

Dear participants

You can follow the steps below to enrol in IZUSEM certificate programmes.

(Candidates who are IZU staff members or students must notify izusem@izu.edu.tr before making a payment.)

  6. After completing the "Create Account" step, you need to click the link below again and log in to the Campus Information System with the e-mail address and password you used to register.

On the screen that opens, you can select the training you want under APPLICATION FORMS in the left panel and create your REGISTRATION.

At the end of the programme, participants are entitled to receive a certificate approved by the Continuing Education Centre of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.

Pursuant to the circular issued by the Department of Expert Witnesses, participants who fail to attend 1/12 of the classes are dismissed from the training programme. Medical reports or other impediments do not remove the attendance requirement.

  • Once the groups have been approved by the Department of Expert Witnesses, no FEE refund is possible.
  • IZUSEM reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary during the announcement and implementation stages of its programmes.
  • As the quota for the programme in question is limited, no refund will be made to participants who have been granted final registration by IZUSEM and have paid the programme fee, regardless of whether they attend the programme, except for those who submit a written application to IZUSEM stating that they will be unable to attend at least 2 weeks before the programme's start date (and before the programme has been approved by the relevant department).
  • Weekday and weekend training groups will be determined according to the number of participants during the final registration period.
