- IMPORTANT NOTE:
This training covers the basic assumptions of the solution-focused brief counseling approach, the structuring of the counseling process, and applied techniques that enable effective progress with the client. Participants will learn how to build a solution-focused roadmap, how to speak the client's language, reframing methods, and powerful question sets that can be used in the counseling process, together with case examples.
This program has been designed for psychologists, psychological counselors, family counselors, psychiatric nurses, guidance and psychological counseling graduates, and clinical psychology master's/doctoral students who wish to learn the solution-focused brief counseling approach.
Throughout the training, the most effective tools of the approach will be covered, such as miracle questions, scaling, exceptions, the surprise technique, the client observation form, solution-finding strategies, the minefield-clearing technique, nightmare questions, the write-read-burn technique and the steps of solution-focused interviewing with children. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive supervision support four times over the following year, focusing on practice and reporting processes based on real cases. During this process, participants will have the opportunity to receive one-to-one feedback from an expert.
Dr. Clinical Psychologist Burcu Büge
Participants who successfully complete the program earn a certificate approved by the Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Continuing Education Center.
