Undergraduate International Student Registration Guide

Registration Dates 01/07/2026 – 30/09/2026

Important:

Complete your registration on time to prevent your letter of acceptance from becoming invalid.
 

  1. Letter of Acceptance
  2. High School Diploma: Original and certified (with apostille if required)
  3. Transcript: Original and certified (with apostille if required)
  4. Passport: Pages showing identity and validity
  5. Legal Residence Document: A document showing your legal residence in Turkey (Residence permit or valid visa)
  6. Language Proficiency Certificate
  7. Payment Receipt (Tuition Fee)
  8. Passport Photographs
  9. International Student Letter of Undertaking (Signed)
  10. Health Insurance: SGK registration document (within three months)
  11. Dual Citizenship Documents: Document showing the date Turkish citizenship was acquired
  12. Renunciation of Citizenship Documents: Renunciation certificate or Blue Card
  13. Entry-Exit Document: Travel dates for Turkish citizens studying abroad
  14. For students under 18, a letter of consent obtained in their own country, certified by the official authorities and notarized

Note: All documents must be in English or Turkish. If not, a notarized translation is required.

  1. Holding citizenship of a country whose official language is the same as the language of instruction.
  2. Holding a high school diploma from a country whose official language is the same as the language of instruction.
  3. Obtaining a sufficient score in an official language proficiency exam (e.g. TOEFL 72 for English).

Before You Travel:

  1. Check the visa requirements for your nationality via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye
  2. Apply for a visa with your official letter of acceptance.
  3. The International Office can support your communication with the Turkish Consulate if you send the following information to international@izu.edu.tr:

Name, surname, passport number, e-mail address of the Turkish Consulate in your country, and copies of your passport and letter of acceptance

After Arrival:

Apply for a residence permit online within one month of entering Turkey.

Standard Fee: $7,000

25% Scholarship: $5,250

50% Scholarship: $3,500

100% Scholarship: $0

Payment Method:

  • Payments can be made in two instalments.
  • The first instalment must be paid before registration and the second before the second semester begins.
