The savings finance sector entered an entirely new era as of 2022. With its own legislation, its licensed activities, its participation finance mission and its savings advisory approach, the savings finance sector, which enables people to finance a home, a car or a commercial property from their own savings through planning, without borrowing or using external funds, currently operates with 6 institutions and a workforce of nearly 5,000 people.
The sector is projected to need more than 3,000 savings finance professionals and managers with expertise in the field between 2023 and 2026. With the aim of preparing the sector, its institutions and its employees for this new era, this certificate programme examines the concept of savings finance from multiple angles and through global perspectives, and seeks to contribute to building the capacity that is needed.
A further aim of this certificate programme is to build sectoral cohesion and to lay the foundations of a culture of sectoral solidarity.
