Registration Renewal Process for Turkish Citizen Students

Registration renewal for international students is completed by paying the tuition fee for the relevant academic semester on the dates announced by the University, in the Academic Calendar during the Course Registration/Advisor Approval week, through the Campus Information System by selecting their courses and having them approved by their academic advisors.
Registration Renewal Process for Extended-Period (4+ Year) Students
Registration renewal for extended-period students is completed in the Academic Calendar for the relevant semester, during the "Course Registrations/Advisor Approvals" week, through the Campus Information System by selecting their courses, paying the tuition fee for the relevant semester or the ECTS credit fees of the courses they select, and having their course selections approved by their advisors.
Registration Renewal Process for Scholarship Students
Registration renewal for scholarship students is completed in the Academic Calendar during the "Course Registrations/Advisor Approvals" week, through the Campus Information System' by selecting their courses and having them approved by their academic advisors.
Scholarships and discounts are granted for the normal study period of the undergraduate program plus one additional year; students whose scholarship has ended must also renew their registration by paying the annual tuition fee or the ECTS credit fee of the courses they select, just like fee-paying or discounted students.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Due to an unforeseeable circumstance such as illness, natural disaster, detention, imprisonment, military service, residence permit, etc., students who are unable to pay their tuition fee on time and cannot make their course selections may apply to the relevant faculty secretariat with a petition within the week classes begin to request “Excused Registration Renewal and Course Registration”.
For students whose excuses are accepted by the relevant administrative board, "Excused Registration Renewal and Course Registration" procedures may be carried out at the latest within the first two weeks of the relevant semester.
Students who do not select courses during the "Course Registrations/Advisor Approvals" week specified in the Academic Calendar, or who do not have their course selection approved by their advisor, may not attend classes/exams that semester and may not benefit from student rights.
Students who do not renew their registration in the relevant semester; cannot receive the Academic Achievement Scholarships, Rank and Cash Scholarships awarded by our University, scholarships and discounts such as those awarded by KYK, etc. Among students receiving a rank scholarship from our University, those who do not renew their registration for one term without a legal excuse will have their rank scholarship permanently discontinued.
Foreign national students who do not renew their registration may not obtain a Residence Permit/Residence Document for the relevant semester, and if they have already obtained one, it will be canceled.
For students who do not renew their registration, the Student Status is updated to "Inactive-Student Who Has Not Renewed Registration" in both the İZÜ-Campus Information System and the YÖK-YÖKSİS Information System, and the semester(s) in which registration was not renewed count toward the student's maximum study period.
The tuition fee paid by students who, despite completing registration renewal and course registration, do not attend classes, will not be refunded and will not be offset against the tuition fee of the following semester/year.
