PARDUS Laboratory
Pardus is a Debian GNU/Linux distribution developed in Türkiye by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, and it is a free and open source operating system. It was developed in order to reduce dependence on foreign sources in the field of information technology, to strengthen cyber security and to achieve cost savings by providing a flexible operating system infrastructure on which critical systems can run, which supports open and standard data structures, which allows its source code to be examined when necessary and which can be adapted to different needs. Accordingly, the Pardus laboratory was established to familiarize the Computer and Software Engineering students at our university with the principle of open source code. There are 64 computers in the laboratory available for student use.
2. Computer Laboratory
The laboratory contains a total of 48 computers, each running the WINDOWS operating system. Internet access is available from the computers in the laboratory, and a wide range of software is made available to students.

3. Blockchain and Network Laboratory
The Blockchain and Network Laboratory was established to conduct research and analysis on today's popular topics such as "Blockchain", "Smart Contracts", "Network Simulations", "Network Security" and "Network Traffic Analysis". Our academic staff and students actively use the laboratory in the projects they carry out. The laboratory has computers running mainly Pardus, as well as Kali and Windows operating systems.
In addition, we have a server providing services related to virtualization technologies (Docker - Kubernetes - LXC), which are among the key topics associated with the purpose of our laboratory; researchers are granted authorization to access it upon request.
Our laboratory supports our researchers at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
