About the Program
-It consists of seven courses (3 hours per week), graduate seminar, and thesis study (120 ECTS total). The normal duration of this program is 4 semesters; the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
- Students, who completed course phase, submit a thesis proposal with the thesis form to the Institute, before starting their theses. After their proposals approved by the Institute, they can start their theses.
- Students enrolled in thesis master programs in the Institute of Social Sciences must fulfill the following conditions before their graduation.
The student who is enrolled in a graduate program must fulfill at least one of the following conditions in order to graduate.
- Two papers presented at national or international scientific meetings,
- An article published in a peer-reviewed/ indexed journal, accepted for publication, or received a DOI number,
- Two papers presented at Social / Science symposiums organized by IZU.

Objectives
- It is to train well-equipped health professionals who can develop the policies necessary to meet the health care needs of all healthy / diseased individuals within the contemporary health system or that can ensure the efficient and efficient functioning of previously developed national health policies.
- To train graduates who can closely follow the developments in national and international areas and establish their relations with health services and health policies, and develop products or services that are beneficial to the society by adapting current knowledge to their profession.
- To train professionals who can work as a manager in institutions that benefit the society by conducting scientific studies in the field of health management, who try to produce and share by contributing to scientific knowledge and literature in the field, to fulfill their social and professional responsibilities, to make projects, develop or develop projects.
- To train entrepreneurial, team spirit, analyst, and synthesizer science experts in health management who can take initiative in planning, management, delivery, and financing of health services.

Degree and Level Awarded
Graduates of the Department of Health Management are graduated as "Health Management Scientists". It is graduated at the master's level with a thesis.
Admission Requirements
-To be a graduate of Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences,
-Get at least 55 points from ALES (EA point type),
-The courses of this program are given at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus.
Graduation Requirements
A Master's program with a thesis consists of at least seven courses, a seminar course, and a thesis study, with a total of not less than twenty credits. The seminar course and thesis work are non-credit and evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. The master's program with a thesis consists of at least eight courses including the seminar course and a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits for an academic year. The student has to register for the thesis each semester starting from the semester following the appointment of an advisor.
Recognition of Prior Learning
The courses taken from the graduate programs of another university are evaluated by the Department of Exemption Commission, if deemed appropriate, the courses are accepted and the student is exempted from the relevant course. For exemption from courses, course contents must match and credit and ECTS accounts must match.
Employment Opportunities
Health Management Scientists have the opportunity to work as managers at the lower, middle, and upper levels in public and private health institutions. If they meet the necessary conditions in Higher Education Institutions, they have the opportunity to be employed as academic staff. They have the opportunity to be employed as assistant experts or experts in the Social Security Institution, the Ministry of Health, in institutions that produce and sell medical devices. They have the opportunity to be employed as medical representatives in pharmaceutical companies.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates of the Health Management Master's program can enter the Health Management Doctorate Programs if they meet the necessary requirements.
