Students may benefit from study mobility either "With Grant" or "Without Grant". In both cases, however, the student must apply and take part in the selection and mobility processes.

Grant Support

The selected student is provided with daily grant support in amounts determined by the European Commission according to the destination country.

The grant provided to a student benefiting from student study mobility is a contribution and is not intended to cover all the expenses relating to the period spent abroad.

The support amounts by country are stated in the application announcements published by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office.

The grant support provided to participants selected for Erasmus+ Study Mobility is limited to a maximum of 1 academic semester so that more students can benefit from the activity.

Participation Without a Grant (“Zero-Grant” Participation)

Students may, if they wish, take part in the activity without receiving a grant. In order to participate without a grant, an application must still be submitted and it is assessed together with all other applications.

The difference for a zero-grant student is that the student is not included in the budget calculations and receives no payment. Not receiving a grant is not a reason for excluding the student from the selection process or from any other process.

Special Needs and Accompanying Person Support

The Erasmus+ Programme encourages greater participation by disadvantaged participants. For participants with physical, mental or other disabilities, the Erasmus+ Programme provides guidance, reception, physical accessibility, pedagogical and technical support, together with a contribution towards additional costs.

Grant support is provided for the special needs of participants with disabilities. Under this support, 100% of the eligible costs are covered. In addition to the supplementary grant, individuals with disabilities and their accompanying persons are also supported with guidance, pedagogical and technical assistance, reception and physical accessibility.

Please contact the Erasmus Office for detailed information.
