Allocation Method for Principal Quotas

By its decision No. 2020/01 dated 02.01.2020, the University Erasmus Commission decided that the quota allocation for the 2020-2021 Fall and Spring Term Study Mobility applications would be carried out using the following method.

Reserve Quotas

All candidates who meet the minimum participation requirements at the end of the general evaluation (a grade point average of at least 2.20 for undergraduate and at least 2.50 for graduate programmes, and a foreign language score at B2 level) but who do not rank within the principal grant quota of the relevant faculty/institute/department/programme will be ranked according to their general evaluation scores and placed on the reserve list of the relevant academic unit.

Distribution of Principal Quotas within the Faculty / Institute / Department / Programme

Grants will be awarded to candidates who apply for the total principal grant quota allocated to faculties and institutes and who meet the minimum participation requirements at the end of the general evaluation, starting with the students of the department/programme with the highest general evaluation score within the relevant faculty/institute/department/programme.

If a quota remains unused or is waived, the quota will be reallocated within the relevant faculty/institute/department/programme using the same procedure.

Non-Use of a Faculty or Institute Quota

If the quota allocated to the relevant faculty/institute cannot be used in full, the remaining quotas will be distributed at the end of the general evaluation starting with the students of the department/programme with the highest general evaluation score on the reserve lists of other faculties/institutes/departments/programmes.
