Student Traineeship Mobility with Erasmus+ Programme Countries

The grant support provided to participants selected for Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility has been limited to a maximum of 65 days so that more students can benefit from the activity.

The activity must last at least 60 days.

Application Requirements

For Erasmus+ Traineeship Mobility, a letter of acceptance obtained from a company abroad must be uploaded to the application form. Only candidates with a letter of acceptance will be evaluated.

Points to Consider When Applying

1- Please contact the Erasmus Institutional Coordinatorship regarding any problems that may arise during the application process. (You may send an e-mail to erasmus@izu.edu.tr or visit the Erasmus Office. Library, KT-143)

2-After the pre-application has been completed online, the "Application Form" must be printed, signed and submitted to the Erasmus Office together with the "Documents Required for Application". The "How to Apply" page must certainly be read. A Letter of Acceptance is required for traineeship mobility. Once the required documents have been submitted to the Erasmus Office, your application will appear in the system as "Approved by the Office". Applications of students who do not submit their documents will not be evaluated.

3-If you do not wish to take the Erasmus+ English Language Proficiency Exam held by the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship, the option "I do not want to take the University Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam on 13 March 2020" must be selected in the pre-application.

Students who do not wish to take the Language Exam;

They may apply with the preparatory year IZU B2 Preparatory Completion score shown on their transcripts. (Scores from C1 or other levels will not be accepted.)

Candidates may also apply with YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL-IBT-CBT-PBT and IELTS scores in order to determine their foreign language level. A validity period of 2 years is accepted for TOEFL and IELTS certificates and 5 years for YDS and YÖKDİL certificates to be evaluated. If an application is to be made with these documents, they must be submitted to the Erasmus Office at the time of application.

4-If you are also applying for Summer Term traineeship mobility within the same application period, selecting the Spring Term option for Study Mobility will make things easier for you if you are selected for both mobilities.

5-The waiver dates for students selected as principal candidates are 30 March 2020 - 13 April 2020. Students who do not exercise their right to waive within these dates and waive on a different date will have -10 points deducted in the next application period. Students wishing to waive must come to the Erasmus Institutional Coordinatorship between 30 March and 13 April and submit a written petition.
