Yetkim Login Service
The use of authentication and authorisation via Single Sign-On for authorised access to web resources is becoming increasingly widespread. An infrastructure called eduGAIN (https://edugain.org/) has been developed and operated for many years so that web services offered on academic networks around the world can be accessed by this method.
YETKİM (https://yetkim.org/) is the identity federation for Türkiye's higher education and research institutions. YETKİM is part of the eduGAIN infrastructure/network. Many countries are included in the eduGAIN infrastructure with many of their services (https://technical.edugain.org/status).
Our university also operates an Institutional Identity Provider that is part of the YETKİM network/infrastructure and therefore of eduGAIN. Through this identity provider, web resources included in the YETKİM and eduGAIN infrastructure can be accessed with your university digital identity.
This Institutional Identity Provider works like Google, Facebook, Apple and similar identities; just as you can access many web resources with your personal Google, Facebook, Apple or similar personal identity, you can also access many services (ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Taylor & Francis, Nature, InAcademia, ...) using your digital identity on our Institutional Identity Provider.
Your digital identity on our University Identity Provider is defined as follows:
For staff;
Username: İZÜ E-mail Address
Password: E-mail Password
