As a sufficient number of applications was not received for the announcement dated 23.05.2025-06.2025, this announcement has been extended until 13.07.2025 by a commission decision taken on 27.06.2025.

*Students who wish to take part without a grant must indicate this request through the system at the time of application. Requests for participation without a grant submitted after the application by students who did not declare this during the application will not be taken into consideration.

Who Can Apply for Erasmus+ Student Study Mobility with Partner Countries?
Full-time doctoral students enrolled in the Islamic Economics and Finance programme.
How to Apply
Applications will only be accepted online. No documents will be submitted to the Erasmus Office. Applications from students who do not upload an electronically signed transcript will be rejected.
Please note that preparing an electronically signed transcript may take 1-2 working days.

Applications must be submitted via the Erasmus application portal at https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/ by logging in with e-Devlet and selecting the relevant announcement for which our university has issued a call.
We would also like to point out that if you experience any problems with your application, you should send an e-mail describing the issue, together with a screenshot, to erasmus@izu.edu.tr.
Who Can Apply
Applications may be submitted by full-time students of our university who are enrolled in the department/programme detailed below, hold active student status and are not in graduating status (with a course load of at least 30 ECTS during the mobility period), and who have a grade point average of 2.20 at undergraduate level or 2.50 in a master's with thesis or doctoral programme.

Students applying to the programme must have a minimum language proficiency of B2.
Points to Consider When Applying
- Please contact the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office regarding any problems that may arise during the application process. (For enquiries, please send an e-mail to erasmus@izu.edu.tr.)
Students who do not wish to take the language exam;
- If a language exam result certificate is available, the exam result documents must be uploaded to the system. (YDS and YÖKDİL certificates will be assessed subject to a validity period of 5 years. The validity period of other language proficiency certificates is 2 years. When uploading language certificates to the system, they must be uploaded in a way that shows the verification codes. Candidates without a language exam certificate must select the option "I wish to take the Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam".)
- Students who wish to apply with their İZÜ preparatory programme completion grade or İZÜ preparatory exemption exam result must enter their "B2" level grade correctly into the system and upload a recently dated, electronically signed transcript showing their "B2" level grade. A "C1" preparatory programme completion grade cannot be accepted.

- A recently dated, electronically signed transcript must be requested via the Campus Information System and uploaded to the application system as a PDF. (Applications made with barcoded transcripts downloaded from e-Devlet or with grade reports lacking an electronic signature will be deemed invalid.)
- The withdrawal period for students selected as main candidates is 1 July - 15 July 2025. Students who do not exercise their right to withdraw within these dates and instead withdraw on a different date will have 10 points deducted in the next application period. Students wishing to withdraw must come to the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office between 1 July and 15 July 2025 and submit a written petition of withdrawal.
Minimum Requirements
To take part in the activity, students must first meet the following minimum requirements:
- Being enrolled in the department/programme specified under "Who Can Apply" and in the announcement title.
- Being a full-time active student and not in graduating status. (Having a 30 ECTS course load / thesis obligation)
- Having a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.20/4.00 at undergraduate level and 2.50/4.00 in graduate programmes;
- Documentation of language proficiency at B2 level;
- If the student has previously benefited from higher education mobility activities under Erasmus+ or the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) within the current study cycle, the total duration including the new activity must not exceed 12 months.

*Priority is given to combat veterans and their spouses and children, as well as the spouses and children of war martyrs; the spouses and children of "public officials who, while performing their duties at home or abroad, or even after their status has ended, have been wounded, disabled, died or been killed as a result of acts of terrorism because of the performance of those duties" pursuant to Article 21 of the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713 dated 12/4/1991; and, pursuant to Article 7 of Decree Law No. 667 dated 23 July 2016, the spouses and children of those who lost their lives as a result of the coup attempt and terrorist act carried out on 15 July 2016 and the acts that followed it, as well as civilians who were disabled and their spouses and children, when they apply for Erasmus+ student mobility.
**In order to receive priority, the student must submit the Disability Health Board report specified in the "Regulation on Disability Assessment for Adults" published in the Official Gazette No. 30692 dated 20 February 2019.
***In order to receive priority, the student must submit a letter from the Ministry of Family and Social Policies stating that a protection, care or accommodation decision has been made in respect of them under Law No. 2828.
****The "-10 points" deduction for previous participation is not applied to mobility carried out in a previous study cycle or to mobility other than higher education student/traineeship mobility. It is applied when a student who has carried out mobility under a KA171 Project applies again within the same study cycle.
Erasmus+ Grant-Funded Mobility Option
Under the Erasmus+ Programme, selected students may receive an Erasmus+ grant to cover their living expenses during the mobility period. The Erasmus+ grant is a contribution and may not cover 100% of the expenses incurred before and during the mobility (such as visa, accommodation, flight tickets and living expenses). In such cases, the student must cover the remaining amount themselves.

Students selected with a grant will receive grant support for 5 months.
Erasmus+ Mobility Without Grant Option
Students may exercise this right by selecting the "I can take part without a grant" option on the online form at the time of application. Whether selected with or without a grant, Erasmus+ students do not pay tuition, registration, examination or library fees to the host university. The application requirements and selection criteria for mobility without a grant are no different from those for grant-funded mobility.
Additional Grant Opportunity for Individuals with Special Needs
