2nd Guidance and Psychological Counselling Career Days '19
The 2nd Guidance and Psychological Counselling Career Days were held in three stages on 29-30 April. Stand meetings, workshops and conferences took place. Representatives of the leading brands of the psychology community also met hundreds of students at the Career Fair. Deputy Governor of Istanbul Mr. Mehmet Ali Özyiğit also attended the event, which featured numerous prize draws and hands-on activities.
Career Fair '19
The İZÜ Career Fair was held on Thursday, 18 April 2019 at 10:00 at the Historical Museum of the Halkalı Main Campus. During the day-long Career Fair, stand meetings and interview simulations were held. Representatives of Türkiye's leading brands also met with students at the Career Fair.
İZÜ HR Summit 1
The İZÜ HR Summit, held on Thursday, 29 November 2018, hosted 35 distinguished companies. More than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students attending our event had the opportunity to meet one-to-one with the participating companies. Our students also showed great interest in the 6 separate conferences organised. In addition, in the interview simulations held with Turkcell, Albaraka, Golf, Mentalift, Ev Okulu Derneği, Medicine Hospital and Eminevim, our students experienced a real job interview. The participating companies offered internship and employment opportunities to our students who are open to development in their fields. Hundreds of gifts were presented to our students in the prize draws held in the final hours of the Summit.
Guidance and Psychological Counselling Career Days
At the Guidance and Psychological Counselling Career Days jointly organised by the İZÜ Career Center and the İZÜ Guidance and Psychological Counselling Club on 9-10 April 2018, many questions such as "What are the career opportunities abroad?", "Working in private institutions or an academic career?", "Why not a Guidance and Research Center?" and "Should I become a forensic psychologist?" were answered at a conference attended by many experts and students from different universities. At the end of the programme, prizes such as language education abroad, internship opportunities, public personnel selection exam courses and gift book sets were awarded to students in a prize draw.
Career Fair '18
Career Fair '18, organised by the İZÜ Career Center on 7 March 2018 with the participation of 36 companies and themed "Face to Face with HR", began with the attendance of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut. Job and internship opportunities, one-to-one HR meetings, strong networks, interview simulations, surprise gifts, prize draws, competitions, product presentations, free personality inventories and much more were offered to our students at Career Fair '18.
An active student is one who uses their network. An even more active student is one who also uses other people's networks. Students met with companies at Career Fair '18 to build strong networks leading to jobs and internships.
Career Fair '17
Career Fair '17, organised by the İZÜ Career Center on 4 May 2017 with the participation of 24 companies and opened with a speech by Turkcell Deputy General Manager Seyfettin Sağlam, offered our students job and internship opportunities, strong networks, preliminary interview simulations, surprise gifts, prize draws, competitions held via Kahoot, product presentations, a free personality inventory and much more.
Career Fair '16
Career Fair '16, organised by the İZÜ Career Center on 4 May 2016 with the participation of 18 companies and opened with a speech by Türk Telekom Human Resources Deputy General Manager Bahattin Aydın, offered our students job and internship opportunities, strong networks, sector presentations and much more.
