About the Program
-It consists of seven courses (3 hours per week), graduate seminar, and thesis study (120 ECTS total). The normal duration of this program is 4 semesters; the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
- Students, who completed course phase, submit a thesis proposal with the thesis form to the Institute, before starting their theses. After their proposals approved by the Institute, they can start their theses.
- Students enrolled in thesis master programs in the Institute of Social Sciences must fulfill the following conditions before their graduation.
The student who is enrolled in a graduate program must fulfill at least one of the following conditions in order to graduate.
- Two papers presented at national or international scientific meetings,
- An article published in a peer-reviewed/ indexed journal, accepted for publication, or received a DOI number,
- Two papers presented at Social / Science symposiums organized by IZU.

- To educate and raise graduates who can add more to their knowledge and skills that they acquired in the field of management with a lifelong learning attitude by following the improvements and changes around them
- To develop skills that are directed towards producing scientific studies in the field of business administration, sharing what are produced, fulfilling the societal and professional responsibilities, developing and applying projects.

- Raise leaders with advanced leadership skills, who can lead the employees in their teams effectively, can be a team player and can manage inter personal relationships and conflicts

Students who successfully completed this study programme is awarded the qualification of Master Degree in (English) Business Administration (Thesis)
Admission Requirements
-To have bachelor's degree,
-Get at least 55 points from ALES (SÖZ-EA-SAY point type),
-To get a score of at least 70 from YDS or YÖKDİL (English) or an equivalent score from the foreign language (English) exam accepted by ÖSYM or at least 70 points from the English Language Proficiency Exam to be held by IZU
-The courses of this program are given at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus.
Graduation Requirements
It consists of seven courses of twenty one hour, seminar and thesis work. (Total 120 ECTS and an average of 2.50 and above) The normal duration of completing this program is 4 semesters and the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
Students who complete the course phase submit a thesis proposal to the Institute before starting their thesis. After their thesis proposals are accepted by the Institute, they are entitled to start their thesis.
In order to graduate, students enrolled in the graduate programs must meet at least one of the following conditions before the thesis defense exam.
- A paper presented at national or international scientific meetings,
- An article published in a refereed / indexed journal, accepted for publication or with a DOI number,
- A paper presented at the symposiums organized by IZU in the Social / Science fields.
- The publication should be about the thesis subject of the student or a subject related to the department.
- In publications, the approval of the thesis advisor must be obtained.
- Publications must have the name of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
Recognition of Prior Learning
A student who has completed at least one semester in a graduate program at the university or another higher education institution can be admitted to the University's graduate programs through undergraduate transfer within the framework of the relevant legislation and the principles determined by the institute board of directors.
The principles regarding the transfer between thesis and non-thesis graduate programs are determined by the institute board of directors.
Employment Opportunities
There are lots of job opportunities for the graduates of the Department of Management master programme both in public and private sectors. The graduates can set up and operate their own business or can work as top executives in different businesses or work as managers in different departments (production, operating, marketing, sales, purchasing, advertising, finance, human resources, public relations and research and development) of companies or work as specialists such as training specialists and managers, financial analysts, financial advisors, accountants, auditors, financial advisors in companies, banks, and other organizations.
