Course Objective

This course aims to provide its participants a comprehensive knowledge on organization theory and organizational behavior with all its functions and processes. Main objective of the course is to demonstrate a big picture where participants can see all OT and OB concepts and practices together for sustaining an effective organization in line with the corporate strategy.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. To analyze the influence of external factors such as economic, cultural and political factors on management thinking and on firms
  2. Understand the definition of organization and organizational research
  3. To be able to write an academic paper on organization theories
  4. To be able to think critically about organization theories and make comparison
  5. Understanding the historical development of organizational theory
  6. To analyze the influence of internal organization factors such as organizational structure and culture on management thinking and on firms
  7. To develop teamwork and presentation skills
  8. To develop critical thinking skills in management
  9. To have knowledge about the evolutionary development of management thinking
  10. To have knowledge about the role and functions of management and managerial roles
