Course Objective
The aim of this course is to bring mentor students together with their peers (first-year students) in order to help first-year students adapt to university life and the nursing profession, and to train mentor students.
Course Content
This course covers Peer Mentoring, Contributions of Peer Mentoring to Nursing, IZU AKRAN Peer Mentoring Program (Mentoring Process), Communication Process (Management), Leadership, Motivation, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Time Management, Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Collaboration, and Career Planning.

Rules
Attendance is required for 70% of theoretical hours and 80% of practical hours. Each student must monitor their own attendance. Students who fail to meet the attendance requirement are not eligible to take final or make-up exams.
Students are expected to attend class on time and fulfill their homework and other responsibilities.
