Course Objective
Brief introduction to the History of Mathematics, methods, materials and curricula used in the History of Mathematics, comparison with today's curriculum and education.

Rules
Students must have %70 attendance whole the term to be able to entered the final exam.Student must have minimum 50 point to pass the final exam.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Describe the ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian mathematics.
- Explains the ancient Egyptian number system and the Egyptian geometry.
- Describes a sixty number system.
- Explains algebra and geometry in Mesopotamia.
- will be able to explain mathematical studies in ancient Greece
- Explain that in mathematics the concept of proof began in ancient Greece.
