Nursing
The Department of Nursing of the Faculty of Health Sciences is a 240-ECTS programme with a normal duration of 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. The curriculum has been prepared in line with the National Core Education Programme for Nursing (HUÇEP), prepared to ensure nationwide standardization in nursing education, the “Regulation on Determining the Minimum Educational Conditions of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Dentistry, Veterinary, Pharmacy and Architecture Education Programmes” published in the Official Gazette dated 02.02.2008 and numbered 26775, and European Union criteria.
The student-centred programme of the Department of Nursing of the Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Faculty of Health Sciences enables students to acquire knowledge and skills in different areas by providing a variety of elective courses. Students are also encouraged and supported to participate in national and international scientific events and exchange programmes in areas that interest them.
Our graduates can work in many areas of medicine, in settings such as public hospitals, university hospitals, private hospitals, outpatient clinics, community health centres, family medicine centres, chronic and long-term care facilities, health-related education and research centres, rehabilitation centres, care, rehabilitation and education centres for children and the elderly, hand surgery centres, nursing homes, dialysis centres, and the health units of schools/factories/banks/municipalities/private and public organizations. By pursuing graduate education, they can also work as educators/academics in undergraduate and graduate nursing programmes.

The Economics undergraduate programme is a 240-ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) programme with a normal duration of 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. 1 ECTS corresponds to a student workload of 30 (hours/semester).
