Students on Duty

The mission of the Halil İnalcık Research Center includes:

contributing to the development of modern, talented, enterprising and well-qualified students and candidates for Türkiye's advancement in the historical, cultural and educational fields, and conducting academic work that advances Turkish historiography at a high standard on both the national and international level.

In this context, bringing our Research Center together with our undergraduate students continuing their studies in the history department marked an important step towards their development. Remaining faithful to their duties and responsibilities, they have also gained the experience needed to carry out major projects.

Among our students who take part in club activities within İZÜ, those serving in the Young Historians Club are involved in work of this kind.

Our students, who make our university proud with their high-quality work, were included in the activities of the Halil İnalcık Research and Application Center in September 2020.

Our students, who have actively contributed to all the activities the Research Center has carried out since October 2020, continue their research and work within the Research and Application Center on a voluntary basis.
