Staff Teaching Mobility with Erasmus+ Partner Countries
Staff teaching mobility is an activity that enables a staff member responsible for teaching at a higher education institution in Türkiye holding an ECHE to teach students at a partner higher education institution in an Erasmus+ Partner Country under Erasmus+ KA-107, and to carry out joint academic/educational activities with the host institution in connection with that teaching.
Participation in seminars and conferences cannot be supported under this activity.
Host Institution (Tunisia - Ez-Zitouna University)
Ez-Zitouna University began its work 1300 years ago as the first university in the Islamic world. It has a unique architectural style. The institution operated in Tunisia under the name of a mosque. It was converted into a university on account of its extensive activities and its work on Islamic culture in Africa. Distinguished thinkers and philosophers of the Islamic world such as Sheikh Tahir ibn Ashur, Tahir al-Haddad and Abdurrahman ibn Khaldun are graduates of this university.
