About the Program
The general aim of the Primary School Teaching Master's Program is; To provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes related to primary school teaching at the postgraduate level and to help them specialize in the field, as well as to support them to do theoretical and applied studies.

Objectives
- It is to introduce the current knowledge and skills and contemporary practices that our administrators and teachers in our education system, as well as the education experts working in the educational units of the institutions will need, and to provide them with the necessary guidance on how to benefit from them while performing their duties. It is to train managers with scientific understanding by providing theoretical knowledge and practical skills to those who work and will work in educational institutions.
- Develops and deepens the general knowledge of educational science within the framework of basic theory and practices in the field of classroom education.
- Will be able to comprehend the relations between theory and practice related to classroom education.
- Can independently conduct the scientific research process related to the field of classroom education.
- Develop solutions to problems related to classroom education by using quantitative and qualitative scientific research methods.

Degree and Level Awarded
Students who successfully complete the master's program with thesis are awarded a master's degree with thesis in the field of primary school teaching.
Admission Requirements
- To be a graduate of the Faculty of Education or to have a Pedagogical Formation certificate,
- Masters with thesis; Getting at least 55 points from ALES (SÖZ-EA or SAY score types),
- The courses of this program are given at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus.
Graduation Requirements
-It consists of seven twenty-one hour lectures, a graduate seminar and a thesis. (Total 120 ECTS and 2.50 and above average) The normal duration of completing this program is 4 semesters, and the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
-Students who complete the course phase present a thesis proposal to the Graduate School with the thesis form before starting their thesis. After the thesis proposals are accepted by the Institute, they are entitled to start their thesis.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If students who are registered to another Higher Education University in the country or abroad where they have studied before, apply within the first week, their credit and grade transfer requests are evaluated by the relevant education unit's administrative board and a decision is made only once, covering the entire education.
