Course Objective
This course aims to provide students with information about human beings, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights, the philosophical foundations of human rights and democracy, the social contract, collective life, the process of translating the principle of human rights and democracy into behavior, and the necessary behavioral patterns for human rights and democracy in the primary education system in terms of input, process and output.
Course Content
Basic concepts related to human rights, knowledge of basic concepts related to human rights, citizenship and democracy, understanding the historical development of human rights, understanding the process of transition of human rights to the international arena, understanding how human rights are protected at national and international levels, understanding the importance of human rights and citizenship education.
