Course Objective
The aim is to equip students with knowledge and skills in measurement and evaluation in sports, and to train teachers who can use valid and reliable measurement tools.
Course Content
The place and importance of measurement and evaluation in education, the basic concepts of measurement and evaluation, the qualities required in measurement tools (reliability, validity, usefulness), measurement tools and features used in education, tools based on traditional approaches (written exams, short-answer exams, correct answers, etc.). -wrong type tests, multiple choice tests, matched tests, oral exams, assignments), tools for getting to know the student in multiple ways (observation, interview, performance evaluation, student product file, research papers, research projects, peer assessment, self-assessment, attitude scales) , basic statistical operations on measurement results, evaluation of learning outcomes, grading, development of measurement tool related to the field.

Course Learning Outcomes
- It explains the fundamental concepts and principles of measurement and evaluation.
- Selects, plans, and implements appropriate assessment tools for physical education lessons.
- It conducts physical fitness and motor performance tests in accordance with standards.
- It analyzes and interprets the collected data and evaluates student progress.
- Interpret the types of errors in measurement, knows the properties of units Knows test analysis (difficulty index and discriminatory power) and examines the difficulty indices of test questions and calculate discriminants.
