Course Objective

The program provides the basic concepts about developing new approaches and trends in curriculum development of new insights in Turkey.

Course Content

Basic concepts of program development; theoretical foundations of program development; program types; philosophical, social, historical, psychological and economic foundations of curricula; curriculum development and features of teaching programs; stages of program development; the basic elements of the program (goal, content, process, evaluation) and the relationships between the items; classification of goals and their relationship with program elements; content editing approaches; determining training needs; program development processes and models; curriculum design approaches; program evaluation models; program literacy; The duties and responsibilities of teachers in developing curricula; Features of MEB curriculums; implementation of teaching programs; new approaches and trends in software development in the world and Turkey.

Explanations

The midterm exam is 60 minutes and the final exam is 90 minutes.
