Course Objective

The purpose of these lessons is to enable the students to gain an extensive insight related to the subject.

Course Content

The aim of this course is to examine theoretical approaches to counseling and psychotherapy, including basic concepts, assessment, client and counselor roles, cultural interest, and intervention strategies/techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. 1- Develops awareness and sensitivity in the society regarding the different needs of people by using counseling principles and techniques 2- Comprehends basic studies and turning points in counseling 3- Implements counseling principles and techniques according to different situations 4- Discusses up-to-date events regarding counseling principles and techniques 5- Responds to social and emotional incidents by using counseling principles and techniques
