Course Objective

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills and values ​​they need to have in working with young people and adolescents. During the course, after reviewing the characteristics of the youth period from a developmental perspective, the basic principles of working with young people, the field of youth welfare, rights-based approach, youth participation, micro, mezzo and macro level social work practices with young people will be examined by considering different young groups.

It includes evaluating youth and adolescence problems from a social work perspective and creating solution suggestions.
