SHZ 628 - Clinical Social Work Theories

This course aims to provide a basic understanding of the social sciences on health and disease as well as the role and function of the social worker in the health system, the micro and mezzo and macro social services in the framework of the planned change stages, the place and importance of the hospital, health workers and treatment institutions in the changing health system health policies in the context of social policy, legal regulations related to medical and psychiatric services, medical social service applications in diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases.

Medical and psychiatric social work practices, health policies, chronic illnesses, psychiatric illnesses, illness, mourning, loss coping, psycho-social and economic problems experienced by patients and their families, patient rights, shu duties and responsibilities in health care.
