Course Objective

Families having problems due to family communication and other reasons. Social work practice within the framework of planned intervention steps to help families gain and strengthen their functions and health by and helping them gain problem-solving skills.

Course Content

Definition of family, family types, functions of the family, historical process, communication within the family, healthy and unhealthy family characteristics, problems experienced in the family, family violence, children's home care services, adoption, foster care family, family theories, family counseling theories, legal regulations, Social work with families at the stage of planned change.
