Course Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce social work theories and approaches for the elderly and to gain practical competencies.
Course Content
Concept of aging society, biological and psychological changes and old age, the concept of graying of the world population, stratification according to age, difficulties of aging, theoretical analysis of old age, politics of aging, institutions related to old age, anti-ageism.
