Course Objective
Understanding the concept and subjects related to crisis and crisis intervention, which is an important part of the psychological counselor's protective mental health, watching and discussing the films and learning the crime intervention skills.
Course Content
Crisis definition, stages, stress, effective communication and effective coping methods, Crisis types; state and developmental crises (migration, earthquake, chronic diseases, death, suicide, burnout), Types of crisis intervention, Crisis intervention steps and skills.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Gives the main features that arise in various crisis situations
- Learn the different types of crisis intervention styles and skills that can not identify state and developmental crises.
- Learn state and developmental crises, watch and discuss eight different films about these crises.
- As a preventive mental health, you will find that crisis and cruel intervention is an important part of psychological counseling.
- Explain the stages of crisis counseling
- Learn basic concepts and approaches related to crisis and crisis intervention
