Course Objective
To show how politics and economy interact in the global level; to explain theories, institutions and relations which define international political economy; to examine topics of international political economy from different perspectives; to demonstrate specific effects of economic, social and political forces which are effective in global economy.
Course Content
Theories and topics of international political economy; different approaches to IPE; actors of IPE; the structures in which actors are active; the issue of development; development strategies; efforts of regionalization; basic issues of IPE.
