Course Learning Outcomes

  2. To understand various production and operations design, management and development decisions; to associate their relationship with the corporate strategy.
  3. Understand the relationship between demand, production, inventory, capacity, and facility planning and scheduling functions.
  4. Understand organizational structure, contemporary operations, various managerial approaches, supply chain management activities and strategic planning.
  5. Understanding quality management and statistical process control, process improvement, technology and project management.
  6. To understand the concepts of quality, lean, 6 sigma and new approaches in operations management.
