Course Objective
This course is aimed at Engineering Management students, aiming to introduce the historical development, aims and objectives of Engineering Management, its relationship with other engineering disciplines, the basic concepts and topics of Engineering Management, as well as its basic approaches and tools.

Course Learning Outcomes
- What is management in engineering? - Who would make a good manager? What knowledge and skills do managers need. - What are the basic concepts and techniques used?
- To be able to evaluate the role, contribution and importance of an Engineer, on the workplace, sector, global and national economy, where who works as a manager.
- To have information about the historical development of management, fields of study and subjects.
- Learning the basic concepts and techniques of management.
