Course Objective
Within the scope of the course, students are expected to be familiar with contemporary issues and discussions about psychotherapy. It is expected that during the course both contemporary theoretical perspectives and practical research outcomes will be addressed and alternative ways of addressing emerging problems will be discussed.
Course Content
Issues that are changing the course of current psychotherapy practices will be covered. Within this framework, particularly results of psychotherapeutic efficacy studies, what the common mechanisms are, unanswered questions, and emerging theoretical approaches will be the focus.
