Course Objective

At the end of the course, students will have an understanding of the role production/operations management plays in business processes.

Course Content

Operations Management involves the integration of numerous activities & processes to produce products and services in a highly competitive global environment.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will be able to define general concepts about stocks, categorize inventory costs, understands stock control models.
  2. List the estimation methods and determine the most appropriate estimation method.
  3. Learns production planning together with the steps
  4. Defines the concepts of efficiency, efficiency and effectiveness and distinguishes between them
