TAR 304 - History of Russia

Studying the History of Russia from its beginning to the present day, understanding the Russian nation and state. To see what kind of stages our northern and great neighbors have come to this day in Turkish-Russian relations over 500 years. To ensure that students learn about how the Russian state tradition and the character of the Russian nation are influenced by what is going on in the historical process and how it is shaped by going through what stages.

The process from the Russians' appearance on the historical stage to the present day is included in the course content. The establishment of the Russian State and Kiev Russia, the Mongol invasion and its dominance of the Golden Horde, The Grand Duchy of Moscow, Russian Expansionism, the Russian Empire, the 1905 Revolution and the First World War are included in the course. Then the fall of the Russian Tsarism, the transition to the Soviet Union, the new era of Turkish-Russian relations, the Stalin Era, the struggle for world domination that the USSR entered with the United States, and the period of the Russian Federation will also be processed within the framework of the course.
