Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide students with information about computer hardware and software programs that may be necessary during both undergraduate and graduate education. Maximum use of correspondence and e-mail systems in digital environments and correspondence principles. Ensuring the availability of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint / Keynote) programs, which are considered quite necessary during and after the university semester, at a sufficient level.

Course Content

The content of this course; General information about the importance of 4G-5G technology in the context of computer literacy and the importance of computer literacy in the context of digital information/data. In the context of information technologies; creation, storage, rapid transportation, and use of information. The contributions of interactive educational technologies to the digital education process (Teams and Zoom) during the Covid-19 Pandemic period. The use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/Key-Note) programs on digital platforms.

  1. To obtain the necessary knowledge in the use of the most effectively used MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote) programs.
  2. Availability of information /data requested from data providers online and offline.
  3. Archiving / storage of the information reached in the computer environment
  4. Fast access and use of stored information / data
  5. The use of electronic mail (e-mail) and the rules of correspondence.
  6. Internal (IZU) communication methods in the use of electronic mail (e-mail).
