Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to enable students to learn, through hands-on practice in a hospital setting, the application of medical nutrition therapy in clinical diseases seen in adult individuals. During their professional training process, students actively participate in patient assessment, individualized nutrition therapy planning, patient follow-up, and counseling processes. In addition, under the guidance of a dietitian, the aim is to instill in students an awareness of patient file tracking, clinical record-keeping, working as part of a team, adherence to ethical principles, and professional responsibility. This professional training contributes to students' post-graduation transition into the clinical field as well-equipped professionals by reinforcing their knowledge, skills, and attitudes through real patient cases.
Course Content
This course involves students observing and practicing on-site the application of medical nutrition therapy for common diseases in adult individuals within a hospital setting.
