Course Objective

Under the nutritional genomic heading, to examine the interactions between the genetic properties of the individual and the components of the diet and the possible effects of these interactions on human health.

Course Content

This course covers the basic concepts of genetics, nutritional genomics and related topics, the effects of diet on gene expression, gene–diet interactions in the prevention and/or treatment of various diseases, application areas of nutritional genomics, and the requirements and responsibilities related to dietitians.
