Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge about the effects of gender on individual and social life, to develop students' ability to critically address problems related to gender inequality in society and to produce solutions to these problems, and to raise awareness in students.
Course Content
This course covers the basic concepts related to gender, international legislation and mechanisms related to gender equality, the legal, economic and political aspects of gender equality in Turkey, and the consequences of problems caused by social inequality in Turkey and around the world.
