Course Objective
Public health nursing aims to train nurses who can apply the fundamental knowledge, concepts and principles of nursing science in line with the health needs of the community and the country's healthcare system, who can assume professional nursing roles at every stage of health and illness, and who develop, maintain and protect the health of individuals, community groups and the community as a whole.
Course Content
This course focuses on protecting and improving the health of individuals, families and community groups in line with the fundamental concepts and theories of public health and public health nursing science. It covers the roles and functions specific to the main areas of practice for public health nurses (family, school, elderly care).
