Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with evidence-based practices and the importance of evidence-based nursing, evidence hierarchy, obstacles in evidence-based practices, and to ask a question to improve nursing care practices, and to provide a draft proposal to initiate change by providing a nursing care culture based on scientific knowledge.
Course Content
This course, the importance of evidence-based practice, history, levels of evidence, the use of research and the difference of evidence-based practice, randomized controlled study, cohort and observational study, characteristics of systematic reviews, evidence-based practice barriers, evidence-based centers, evidence-based guidelines, evidence-based practice culture, and providing an example of change in evidence-based practice to a clinical question.
