Course Objective
The aim of this course is to develop students' research skills and to enable them to gain the skills needed to write an article using sources on an academic subject by applying their critical thinking skills.
Course Content
The scope of this course, types of academic papers, reading academic article types and evaluation with critical evaluation tools, scientific writing, scientific writing types, scientific publication ethics, scientific writing sections, title, authors, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, results, discussion , final words, acknowledgments, references, footnotes, referee responses, proofs; letter to the editor, conference presentation and poster presentation principles.

- Defining parts of scientific writing and explaining the features
- To know ethics, rights and permissions in scientific writing
- To be able to examine academic articles and articles
