HEM 113 - Microbiology

To teach students a theoretical level microbiology background

To provide students with the knowledge of how to remove microorganisms from the environment when necessary.

To explain laboratory diagnostic techniques to students

To ensure that students understand how the immune response occurs and antimicrobial vaccines

To give students the ability to understand all sub-branches of microbiology and thus to be aware of the latest developments in this field.

This course includes the microbial flora types found in humans, sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis techniques, general laboratory diagnostic techniques, subtopics of microbiology such as immunology, bacteriology, virology, mycology and parasitology.
