Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the development of infectious diseases associated with major bacterial pathogens, the mechanisms of action of antibiotics, the development of antibiotic resistance at the molecular level, and the phenotypic and molecular methods used in the detection of antibiotic resistance, focusing on these pathogens.

Course Content

This course focuses on major bacterial pathogens and includes the development of pathogen-related infectious diseases, the mechanisms of action of antibiotics, the development of antibiotic resistance at the molecular level, and phenotypic and molecular methods used in the detection of antibiotic resistance.
