Course Objective

To teach the metabolism of biological molecules to the students.

To enable students to learn citric acid cycle and electron transport.

To help students apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned.

Course Content

In addition to Biochemistry I, this course includes carbohydrate metabolism, citric acid cycle, electron transport, oxidative phosphorylation, oxygen metabolism, lipid metabolism and mechanisms of signal transduction

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Learn the carbohydrate metabolism.
  2. Learn the citric acid cycle and electron transport
  3. Explain the lipid metabolism
  4. Describe the electron transport, oxidative phosphorylation and oxygen metabolism
  5. Learn the mechanisms of signal transduction
