Course Objective
To ensure that the students gain Microbiology background at a theoretical as well as a practical level
To give students the ability to understand microbiology and thus to be aware of the latest developments in this field.
Course Content
This course includes microorganisms, their identification, metabolism, growth conditions, growth control, microbial genetics and biotechnological applications and parallel to the course content laboratory experiments

Rules
All students are required to attend 70% of the theoretical course and 80% of the laboratory.
Those whose laboratory grade point average is below 50 points cannot take the final exam.
