Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Using appropriate integral techniques including methods such as integration with simple fractions, trigonometric transformation, partial integration to integrate algebraic, logarithmic, exponential, trigonometric, and resultant functions.
  2. Calculate generalized integrals and apply tests for convergence.
  3. Calculation of the arc length, the surface area formed by the rotation of the graphs and parametric curves.
  4. Draw the polar curves, find the arc length and the surrounding area.
  5. Application of theorems about the limits of arrays.
  6. Using different tests to determine the convergence of series.
  7. Take power series and use them to represent functions.
  8. To determine the Taylor series of functions, to prove the convergence of functions and to find the range of convergence.
  9. Applying Taylor series to approach problems.
