Course Objective
To Promote The Relations Between Semantics And Other Disciplines. To Teach The Basic Concepts Of Semantics. To Teach Stagnant And Dynamic Semantics Topics. To Teach The Characteristics Of Turkish In Terms Of Semantics.
Course Content
The history of semantics, its place in linguistics and explanation of key concepts related to semantics, semantic features of Turkish language (word level, sentence level); meaning frame,
meaning events; static meaning science, word, concept, meaning, scope; synonymy, antonym, synonym
namedness; polysemy; advanced semantics, semantic change, semantic expansion, semantic contraction; idiom transfer, name transfer and similar rhetoric.
Course Learning Outcomes
- To Learn Structure And General Characteristics Of Turkish As A Language And Convert Them Into Behavior While Using The Language
- To Take To The Habit Of Using Turkish Language Correctly And Effectively
