Course Objective
To give some knowledge to the students about aesthetic experience, aesthetic object and the art as the language or form of aesthetic experience. And to inform them about nature of artistic language and the relations between art and civilisation.

Art, fine arts, craft and culture; art and education; art, creativity and art; art philosophy and aesthetics; theories of art and aesthetics; art criticism; art history, pre-modern, modern and art in post-modern periods; art and social context; art and everyday life; Turkish-Islamic art-aesthetics and works of art; the position of the art and craftsman in the process of social change; The development of the arts in Turkey; understanding of art today; construction of civilization and art; art, aesthetics
and morality.
